Daniel Hurwitz

Daniel Hurwitz is an experienced educator currently serving as a Math Teacher at the School of the Future since September 2021 and as a Special Education Teacher at East Harlem Scholars Academies since September 2017. Daniel's teaching career includes a role as a Teaching Resident at East Harlem Tutorial Program and an English Teaching Assistant position at Lycée Alexis Monteil. Daniel has also worked as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University, focusing on territorial non-state armed actors, and as a Data Analyst at Jennings Realty, Inc. Additionally, Daniel served as a Fencing Referee for a high school girl's league. Daniel holds a Master's Degree in Education from Hunter College and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government and French from Northwestern University.
