Shaneka Briggs is currently serving as the Humanities Department Chair at East Harlem Tutorial Program. Prior to this role, Shaneka has held positions such as an English Teacher at Imhotep Institute CHS, a Community Engagement Fellow at Temple University, and a Literacy Teacher at West Oak Lane Charter School. Shaneka is dedicated to creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences for students across various educational settings. Shaneka holds a Master of Education in Urban Education and Leadership from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania.
