Kristan Justice

Kristan Justice currently serves as the Managing Director of Curriculum and Instruction at East Harlem Tutorial Program, a role assumed in July 2025. Prior to this, Kristan held several positions at Democracy Prep Public Schools from July 2015 to July 2025, including Director of Special Education, Assistant Principal, and Special Education Teacher, where responsibilities included teaching ELA and Mathematics to 9th-12th Grade Scholars. Kristan was also a member of Teach For America as a High School Special Education Teacher from 2015 to February 2023. Earlier experience includes a Communications Internship at GSK in 2014, developing a digital assets program, and serving as a Youth Development Specialist at Chesapeake Center for Youth Development from January 2010 to May 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Special Education and Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts and Psychology from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania.
