Todd Svoboda

Todd Svoboda has extensive work experience in engineering and management roles. Todd began their career as a Student Athlete at the University of Kentucky in 1992. After that, they worked as an Environmental Engineer at CH2M HILL from 1994 to 1996. Todd then served as the Manager of Ozonated Cooling Systems at Sun River Innovations in 1996-1997. From 1997 to 1998, they worked as a Technical Marketing Representative for Fosroc on the West Coast region.

Their longest employment was at Lexmark International, Inc., where they held various positions from 1998 to 2016. Todd started as an Inkjet Ink Product Engineer and Team Leader, responsible for the worldwide manufacturing and process of inkjet inks. Todd then became an Ink/Media Development Engineer, followed by a Laser Component Engineer, and finally a Manager of OEM Supplies Engineering, where they managed a $360 million global OEM supplies business. Their responsibilities included leading engineers and technicians, managing customer relationships, and overseeing budgets and audits.

Since 2016, Todd has been working at the East Kentucky Power Cooperative as a Senior Engineer and then as a Principal Engineer. In this role, they manage water and wastewater permitting and compliance activities for all EKPC generating facilities and works closely with regulatory agencies.

Todd Svoboda received their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky between the years 1992 and 1994. Before that, they attended Northern Kentucky University from 1989 to 1992, where they studied Chemistry. Todd Svoboda completed their high school education at Princeton High School. Additionally, they hold certifications in Asbestos Abatement Project Supervision from The Environmental Institute, obtained in February 2017, and a Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Lexmark International, Inc., obtained in 2008.
