Solomon Dobbs is a driven professional currently serving as a M.A.P D-League Fellow at Make A Play Foundation since March 2021, where participation involves a comprehensive program aimed at enhancing professional skills for competitive industries. Solomon has extensive experience as a caddy at East Lake Golf Club since July 2015 and completed a Summer Insight Series Internship at Goldman Sachs from June 2020 to February 2021, focusing on Diversity and Inclusion while networking with top executives. Academic achievements include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Morehouse College (2019-2023) and research experience as a Project Engages Researcher at Georgia Institute of Technology, where Solomon contributed to the development of a robotic model inspired by ape locomotion.
East Lake Golf Club
Located in Atlanta, Georgia, East Lake Golf Club is the home course of legendary golfer Bobby Jones and is the oldest golf course in the city of Atlanta. The Club is not only historic, but philanthropic as well. Proceeds from operations – more than $20 million to date – support the East Lake Foundation, which has helped transform one of the nation’s worst public housing projects into a thriving community. Since 2004, East Lake has been the permanent home of the TOUR Championship, the culminating event of the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedEx Cup, with only the top 30 players on the points list qualifying each year.
