Byron Hamby has extensive experience in education and coaching, currently serving as Supervisor of Testing and Compliance and Data Teacher Trainer for East Orange School District since January 2020. Prior roles include Data Coach at Cicely L. Tyson Community Middle/High School from October 2017 to December 2019 and Health and Physical Education Teacher for East Orange School District from October 2010 to October 2017. Coaching experience includes positions as Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Parsippany High School and Assistant Boys Basketball Coach at Plainfield High School, alongside roles as a Health and Physical Education Teacher at Plainfield Board of Education and Freshmen Boys Basketball Coach at Immaculate High School. Byron Hamby holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Montclair State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education from Kean University.
