Nicholas Potter

Nicholas Potter is an experienced energy professional currently serving as a Board Member at East Point Energy since September 2023, focusing on energy storage project development. Since April 2018, Nicholas holds multiple leadership roles at Equinor, including President of Equinor Natural Gas LLC and Head of North American Gas Trading. Previous positions include Vice President of Commodities-Natural Gas/LNG at Barclays Investment Bank, LNG and Natural Gas Consulting at Poten & Partners, and Research Associate for the Global Gas team at CERA. Nicholas began the career as a Russian and Global Oil Intern at Cambridge Energy Research Associates. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Russian Area Studies from Wheaton College, Massachusetts, and additional studies at the International University in Moscow.
