Melissa Barre

Melissa Barre is an experienced pediatric nurse currently serving as a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse at The Mount Sinai Hospital since January 2024 and as a Radiology Nurse at East River Medical Imaging since August 2023. Previously, Melissa worked at the New York Proton Center as a Pediatric PACU RN and at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA as a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse, actively participating in committees and policy revisions. Volunteer experience includes roles on Mercy Ships, providing post-operative care for both adult and pediatric patients. Melissa holds a Master’s in Nurse Leadership from Western Governors University, a certification in Lactation Consulting from UCSD Extension, and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University.
