Elin Jonsson

Elin Jonsson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the gaming and entertainment industry. Elin is currently employed at East Side Games as the Chief Business Officer, responsible for overseeing business operations. Prior to this role, they served as the Executive Producer for "The Office: Somehow We Manage" and as the Director of IP Partnerships. Elin has also held positions such as Producer and Associate Producer for various gaming projects at East Side Games.

Before joining East Side Games, Elin worked at Wind Sun Sky Entertainment / Skybound North Entertainment as an Interactive Producer for a short period of time.

Elin has also worked as an Artist at V2 Games and Kemojo Studios. Elin was involved with Peace & Love Festival as an Art Director and Artist from 2009 to 2012.

Additionally, Elin has co-founded and held the role of Producer at Imaginary Games, a start-up game studio in Vancouver. Elin was also involved as an Artist during their tenure at Imaginary Games.

Elin Jonsson has a diverse education history. In 2004, they began their studies at Dalarna University, where they earned a Degree of Master of Education in the field of Art, Film, Design, and Multimedia Production. Following that, in 2011 and 2012, they pursued Continuing Education at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, focusing on Illustration.

In 2013, Elin participated in a Business Incubator program at Execution Labs, specializing in Mobile Games. Moving forward, in 2016, they enrolled in the Venture Acceleration Program at Wavefront (Imaginary Games) and completed the program in the same year. Elin then continued their business development journey by joining the Venture Acceleration Program at Wavefront (VILDELD Productions) from 2017 to 2018.

Elin's interest in yoga led their to pursue a Yoga Teacher Training/Yoga Therapy course at the Sikh Dharma of the Western Hemisphere. Additionally, they expanded their yoga knowledge and obtained a Yoga Teacher - Lv 1 Instructor certification from the Kundalini Yoga Research Institute in India from 2020 to 2021.

Aside from their formal education, Elin also holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in November 2019.
