Libby Beck

Libby Beck has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Libby'smost recent position was as a Payroll & Benefits Manager at East Side Games, beginning in July 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Executive Administrator at Resonance Consultancy Ltd. from September 2018 to June 2019, where they implemented HR, payroll, and invoicing systems. From September 2015 to August 2018, they served as an Office Administrator at Signals Design Group, managing administrative and financial systems. Additionally, they have experience as a Pottery Instructor at the False Creek Community Centre from September 2016 to December 2016 and at Island Pacific School from 2006 to 2007. Libby also worked as an Administrator and Communications Coordinator for the BC Food Systems Network at Tides Canada from April 2015 to June 2016 and as an Executive Administrator for Clean Energy Canada at Tides Canada from January 2012 to March 2015. Libby was an Executive Assistant/Secretary at WRD Underhill Law Corporation from 2005 to 2012 and a Bookkeeper/Payroll clerk at The Ruddy Potato Whole Foods Market from 2003 to 2012. Additionally, Libby worked as a Ceramic Artist at their own studio, Libby Beck Studio, from 1994 to 2005 and as a Graphic Designer at Signals from 1987 to 1989.

Libby Beck's education history begins in 1979 when they attended Richmond upon Thames College for a Foundation Arts program. Libby completed this program in 1981. Following this, they enrolled at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, where they pursued Graphic Design from 1981 to 1984. From an unspecified period until 2020, Libby attended Thompson Rivers University, focusing on Accounting. Additionally, in August 2020, they obtained a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification from The Canadian Payroll Association.
