Technical Artist at East Side Games

Rachel Theil has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Rachel started their career as a Freelance Artist at Limes in 2016 and then worked as a Game Designer at Little Guy Games in 2018, where they contributed to the development of the Major League Baseball sponsored game, Home Run Derby VR. Rachel also worked as a Project Manager and Game Developer at PuzzSoft in 2018-2019, where they specifically worked on Trail Mix and presented it at the Experimental Games Workshop at the Game Developers Conference in 2020. Rachel then joined OddBird Studio as a Game Developer in 2019.

In the same year, Rachel joined Sago Mini as a Technical Artist, where they worked on various projects and also onboarded new Technical Artists. Rachel'scontributions were in projects like Sago Mini Camping, Sago Mini Fun Fair, Sago Mini Neighborhood Blocks, Sago Mini Dinosaurs, and Sago Mini World. Rachel stayed with Sago Mini until 2021.

Rachel's most recent work experience is with East Side Games, where they currently hold the position of Technical Artist starting from May 2022.

Rachel Theil attended Sheridan College from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained an Honours Bachelor of Game Design degree. Rachel also completed a Sheridan Board Undergraduate Certificate in Creativity and Creative Problem Solving during the same period of time, from 2015 to 2018.
