Will Chan has a diverse work experience in software engineering roles. Will started their career in 2000 as a Programmer at 2PATHS SOLUTIONS. During this time, they interacted with clients, developed and maintained applications, and performed system administration tasks.

In 2006, Will joined Sutton Group Realty Services Ltd. as a Web Developer. Will was responsible for redesigning and maintaining the company's websites using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Will also collaborated with the marketing team to implement user-focused features.

In 2010, Will joined DownTownEastside Games (DES games) as a Software Engineer, where they worked on LAMP development.

Will's most recent and extensive experience is with East Side Games, where they started as a Software Engineer in 2011 and progressed to the roles of Senior Software Engineer and eventually Lead Software Engineer. In these positions, they led and mentored a team of backend Software Engineers, collaborated with other disciplines, provided technical guidance, and reviewed major architecture changes. Will also architected and shipped server-side code for various mobile games and performed the role of a Certified Scrum Master. Additionally, Will assumed the responsibilities of the Technical Director when they were absent and served as the Engineer lead of the LiveOps team.

Will Chan attended St. George's High School from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at The University of British Columbia from 1996 to 2000.
