Graham Cook

Graham and his family live in Eastbourne and all three were students at the Eastbourne campus at various locations.

Graham has worked in both the public and private sector and has recently closed his consultancy. His career started in local government where he gained his professional qualifications and became an Assistant Director with a district council. He then spent 11 years in management consultancy with Capita and then KPMG. He returned to local government as first a Director and then Deputy Chief Executive at a large District Council in Surrey. For the past 6 years he has worked as an independent consultant advising Management Teams and Council Cabinet members across a range of local authorities and companies trading in the local government marketplace.

Graham specialised in leading complex property/regeneration schemes, leisure/culture developments, major procurements and supporting organisational merger/transformation programmes. He has wide experience of leading teams of up to 350 staff across many of the professional disciplines found in local government.
