David Slater

David Slater is an experienced professional in the field of business and market intelligence, currently serving as the Business and Market Intelligence Manager at East Sussex County Council since January 2022. Prior to this role, David held multiple positions at Cross-border Information from May 2009 to January 2022, including Head of Consultancy, where responsibilities included managing operations for the African Energy Consultancy and overseeing the delivery of research and advisory projects for clients. David also served as a Senior Project Manager and Senior Research Analyst, contributing to the development of power supply and demand analysis and price forecasting models aimed at identifying investment opportunities in the African energy sector. David holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Sussex and a BA in Politics from the University of East Anglia.
