Michaela Richards

Michaela Richards is an experienced professional in the fields of community safety, domestic and sexual violence prevention, and social care. Currently serving as the Head of Safer Communities and Strategic Commissioner for Domestic, Sexual Abuse and Violence against Women and Girls at East Sussex County Council since August 2020, Michaela has dedicated a significant portion of the career to improving community wellbeing. Prior roles include Director of Operations at change, grow, live (CGL), where Michaela oversaw various services, and Independent Consultant for HARP, focused on cross-organizational collaboration. Michaela's expertise is further supported by an extensive education background, including a Postgraduate Certificate in Health from the University of Brighton and multiple certifications in project management and mental health.
