Sophia Germano is an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, working in the Visual Perception and Cognition Lab. In addition to research, Sophia serves as a patient care assistant at East Tennessee Children's Hospital, providing care and support in the Hematology/Oncology and Medical departments. Previously, Sophia held roles as a medical assistant and patient services representative at East Tennessee Children's Hospital Urgent Care, and worked as a nurse technician at UT Medical Center. Experience also includes serving as a waitress at Luigi's Ristorante and teaching yoga at both the University of Tennessee Recreation Center and Simply Power Yoga. Sophia holds a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a high school diploma from Mount Notre Dame High School.
