Michelle Cahal

Michelle Cahal serves as the GIS Services Program Manager at East Texas Council of Governments since October 2010, where responsibilities include initiating mobile and desktop application development for GIS programs and maintaining the enterprise GIS using ESRI software. Previously, Michelle held the position of GIS Analyst at Texas Parks and Wildlife Department from November 2007 to September 2010, managing data for the State Parks Wildland Fire Program. Additionally, Michelle worked as a GIS Analyst/Manager at East Texas Council of Governments from 2003 to 2007 and as an Urban Forester at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston from 2000 to 2002. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Stephen F. Austin State University, completed from 1997 to 2000.
