Dr.Mahesh Sharma

Dr. Mahesh Sharma has a diverse work experience in the insurance and healthcare industry. Dr.Mahesh started their career in 2006 as an employee of E-Meditek Solutions Ltd, where they worked in mediclaim insurance operations. In 2009, they moved on to Alankit Health Care TPA, where they managed mediclaim, networking, and corporate marketing.

From 2011 to 2016, Dr. Sharma worked as an Area Medical Manager at Star Health and Allied Insurance Co. Ltd. In this role, they were responsible for managing medical operations in their designated area.

In 2016, Dr. Sharma joined CYGNUS Medicare as a Group Vice President. Dr.Mahesh held this position until 2018, during which they contributed to the overall management of the organization.

After leaving CYGNUS Medicare, Dr. Sharma joined Gold Key Insurance Brokers as a Business Development & Services Consultant from 2018 to 2020. In this role, they were involved in developing business strategies and providing service support to clients.

Dr. Sharma then transitioned to Health India Insurance TPA Services, where they served as the Vice President of Operations and Business Development from 2020 to 2021. In this position, they played a key role in the growth and development of the company.

Most recently, Dr. Sharma worked at Connect and Heal - CNH Care from 2021 to 2023. During this time, they held leadership positions and was responsible for driving Pan India insurance, brokering, and TPA relationships. Dr.Mahesh also played a vital role in coordinating reimbursement claims and processes, as well as designing insurance products with OPD and IPD benefits.

Currently, Dr. Mahesh Sharma holds the position of Vice President at East West Assist Insurance TPA Pvt Ltd, a role they have occupied since 2023.

Dr. Mahesh Sharma completed their Matriculation from SD High School in Jagadhri, Haryana from 1978 to 1982. Dr.Mahesh then pursued a Higher Secondary degree in Biology from MLN School in Yamuna Nagar from 1983 to 1984. Continuing their education in the medical field, Dr. Sharma obtained a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree from SKGA College in Kurukshetra from 1986 to 1991.

In order to further their understanding of healthcare administration and management, Dr. Sharma pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare degree from Sikkim Manipal University through distance education, completing it in 2013. Dr.Mahesh also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health from Annamalai University in 2010, focusing on public health education and promotion. Additionally, Dr. Sharma obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication from Kurukshetra University in 1996, emphasizing communication, journalism, and related programs.
