David Acosta

David Acosta is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in the entertainment banking sector. Currently serving as Managing Director & Head of Entertainment Banking at East West Bank since January 2024, David previously held the position of Senior Vice President at City National Bank from July 2010 to January 2024, where leadership focused on banking entertainment and media companies. Prior to that, David was a Senior Vice President at IDB Bank, overseeing the Entertainment, Sports, and Syndicated Finance Group as well as the Mid-Corporate Division from September 2003 to July 2010. Early career roles include Associate at Seneca Financial Group and Analyst at Lazard Freres & Co., where David contributed to financial advisory services with a focus on valuation and restructuring. David Acosta obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University between 1996 and 2000.
