Brian Marler is an experienced Information System Analyst currently employed at the East-West Gateway Council of Governments since May 2008. In this role, Brian has successfully managed various Information Technology and Communications Infrastructure projects and overseen multi-million dollar Federal grants, including the Urban Area Security Initiative. Prior to this position, Brian served as a Wide Area Network Analyst for the Regional Justice Information System from January 1998 to May 2008, where responsibilities included developing disaster recovery plans, providing technical support to system users and law enforcement agencies, maintaining technical documentation, managing procurement processes, and contributing to IT policies and cybersecurity measures. Brian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, earned after completing a high school diploma in Science at Lafayette Sr. High School.
