Carrie Derby

Carrie Derby, PHR, is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience in various HR roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Human Resources Manager at East-West Gateway Council of Governments since March 2023, Carrie administers and executes HR programs while assisting in the development and updating of policies and procedures. Previous positions include Human Resources Generalist at Elementis Global and Nomax Inc, as well as Human Resources Manager at G4S. Additionally, Carrie has held roles in talent acquisition and employee services, starting a career in the public sector as a Corrections Officer with the Missouri Department of Corrections. Carrie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Saint Louis University.
