Amit Shembekar

Amit Shembekar has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of medicine. Amit started their career at Stony Brook University as a Resident Physician and Chief Resident from July 2003 to June 2006. Following this, they joined Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons as an Attending/Assistant Clinical Professor from July 2006 to November 2013.

In January 2011, Amit Shembekar worked as the Assistant Director of Emergency Medicine at Harlem Hospital Center, and in November 2013, they became an Emergency Medicine Attending at NYP/Lawrence Hospital Center.
