Joel Cruz

Joel Cruz has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Joel began their career in 2010 at the YMCA of South Hampton Roads, where they worked as a Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, and later became Head Lifeguard. During their time at the YMCA, Joel managed the aquatics facility, responded to emergency situations, and maintained the proper functioning of pool systems.

In 2013, Joel founded Cruz Productions LLC and served as the CEO until 2020. In this role, they oversaw the operations of the company.

Joel also worked at Wildcard Toys as a Product Photographer for a brief period in 2017.

In 2014, Joel interned at EastCoast Entertainment during the summer.

Joel joined Longwood University in 2013 as a Resident Assistant and later became a Multimedia Specialist, contributing to various multimedia projects until 2017.

In 2015, Joel briefly worked as a Production Assistant at Bray Entertainment.

Finally, Joel returned to EastCoast Entertainment in 2017 and held multiple roles, including DJ & Production Division Manager, Artist Services, and their current position as the Director of Artist Services/Executive Producer, where they advise on DJ bookings and event production.

Joel Cruz attended Longwood University from 2013 to 2016, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Marketing.
