Tj Smith

TJ Smith has extensive work experience in the audio technology industry. TJ served as the President and General Manager of EAW - Eastern Acoustic Works from 2016 to the present. During their tenure, they were responsible for managing the company's global business, including sales, operations, and product strategy. TJ successfully led the company through an asset sale from private equity to a private industry buyer and built a new stand-alone company.

Prior to their role at EAW, TJ Smith worked at HARMAN International from 2000 to 2016. TJ held various senior positions within the company, including Senior Director of the Signal Processing Business Unit and Senior Director of the China Business Unit. In these roles, they had overall responsibility for the business unit's operations, including engineering, sales, and marketing. TJ also served as the site leader for HARMAN's facilities in Salt Lake City, China, and Shenzhen.

Before joining HARMAN, TJ Smith worked as an Electrical Design Engineer, where they were responsible for converting marketing specifications into production-ready designs. TJ also held positions as an Engineering Program Manager and Program Manager, where they oversaw new product development and the establishment of an Engineering Design Center.
