K. M. Alamgir Kabir

K. M. Alamgir Kabir has extensive work experience in the banking industry, with a focus on trade operations and exports. From 2002 to 2011, they worked at Mercantile Bank Limited as the First Assistant Vice President and Head of Export, where they were responsible for overseeing all activities in the export department and resolving customer issues. Since 2012, they have been working at Eastern Bank Limited as the Vice President and Senior Manager of Trade Operations. In this role, they communicate export-related issues with customers and regulatory authorities, and ensures compliance with policies and regulations.

K. M. Alamgir Kabir completed their Masters in Bank Management from the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management in the years 2000 to 2002. K. M. Alamgir also obtained a Bachelor's of Science (Hons) degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from Dhaka College, National University from 1995 to 1997. In 2014, they attended The Institute of Financial Services (IFS) – School of Finance in the UK to become a Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS). Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Expert in Trade Services from the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management in 2019.
