Isis Ortiz-Belton

Isis Ortiz-Belton has a diverse and extensive work experience. Isis is currently serving as Vice President, Portfolio Management at Eastern Bank, where they manage the credit exposure of various clients, including Security Alarm, C&I, and Not-For-Profit. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President, Portfolio Management at Citizens Financial Group, Inc. Here, they managed a portfolio of middle market clients and handled various types of transactions such as working capital revolving lines of credit, commercial term loans, and asset finance.

Isis also gained valuable experience at Santander Bank, N.A., where they worked as a Credit Risk Officer in the Global Banking & Markets division. Isis managed a credit portfolio worth over $1 billion for large corporate clients in industries like Pulp & Paper, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Heavy Machinery, and Transportation. At John Hancock, they worked as a Jr. Portfolio Manager and later as a Senior Credit Associate, specializing in Bond & Corporate Finance.

Isis'searly career included a role as Finance & Accounting Associate at ACCION International. Isis was actively involved in finance and accounting tasks during their time there.

Furthermore, Isis has been actively engaged with ALPFA, Inc - Association of Latino Professionals For America. Isis served as President, Chief Operating Officer, and held various Vice President roles at the ALPFA Boston chapter, focusing on corporate relations and treasury.

Isis Ortiz-Belton has an extensive education history. Isis obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in the Economics of Financial Markets from Bentley University, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2012, they earned a Master of Science degree in Finance from the New England College of Business.

Isis also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management, both obtained from Emmanuel College (Boston), where they studied from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their academic achievements, Isis also holds a certification called "Boston's Future Leaders Certification" obtained from the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce in December 2021.
