Rachael Ward

Portfolio Manager, Community Development Lending at Eastern Bank

Rachael Ward started their work experience in 2012 as an English Teacher at Teach For America. Rachael then worked as a Humanities Teacher at Codman Academy Charter Public School from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they became a Research Assistant at the Center for Juvenile Justice Reform at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy. Rachael joined IMPAQ International in 2017 as an Education Intern and later worked as a Housing Intern at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities from 2017 to 2018. Rachael then worked as a Development Project Associate at The Community Builders, Inc. from 2018 to 2022. Rachael is currently a Commercial Credit Analyst at Eastern Bank since April 2022 and will be transitioning to the role of Portfolio Manager, Community Development Lending in June 2023.

Rachael Ward completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Gettysburg College from 2008 to 2012. In 2011, they also attended the School for International Training to study Social and Political Transformations. Later, from 2016 to 2018, Rachael pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy.
