John Stewart

John Stewart has a diverse work experience in the medical imaging field and healthcare industry. John has worked at Eastern Health since 2010, starting as a Medical Imaging Technologist and eventually becoming an Associate Program Director. John has also been a Project Manager for a PACS system implementation, ensuring zero downtime and improved radiologist efficiency. In addition, John has held roles as a CT Supervisor and EH Clinical ICT Specialist.

Outside of Eastern Health, they have worked as a Panel Member at MRPB, a Consultant at Stewart, and a Senior Adjunct Lecturer at Monash University. John has also served as Chair of the Pathology & Imaging Reference Group at Health Shared Services (Vic) and as a Content Writer at APRAH.

Earlier in their career, John worked as the Director of Sales & Business Development in the Asia Pacific region for Pro Medicus Limited. John also founded and managed a healthcare recruitment firm called National Recruitment - Healthcare. John started their career at Agfa Healthcare, holding roles such as Head of Marketing - Asia Pacific and International Product Manager.

Throughout their career, John Stewart has demonstrated strong expertise in medical imaging, project management, leadership, and business development.

John Stewart has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration - Information Management from Deakin University, which they obtained from 1983 to 1984. John also holds a Diploma in Applied Science - Medical Radiations from RMIT University, which they obtained from 1977 to 1979. Furthermore, they have a HSC degree in Sciences from St Kevins College, which they completed from 1969 to 1976. In addition to their formal education, John also holds certifications in PRINCE2 Practitioner and PRINCE2 Foundation, obtained from Codarra Advanced Systems Pty Ltd in September 2011.
