Michael Law has extensive experience in the field of breast and endocrine surgery. Michael is currently working at Eastern Health as the Clinical Director of Breast and Endocrine Surgery. Prior to this, they served as the Acting Clinical Director of Breast and Endocrine Surgery at Eastern Health.
Before joining Eastern Health, Michael worked at Melbourne Breast and Endocrine Surgeons as a Breast and Endocrine Surgeon. Michael also held similar positions at Knox Private Hospital, Epworth, and Ramsay Health Care.
In addition to their clinical roles, Michael Law has been involved in academia as a Senior Lecturer at Monash University since 2010. Michael is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
Michael's early experience includes working as a Fellow at Princess Alexandra Hospital and as a Registrar at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. Overall, they have a strong background in breast and endocrine surgery, with a focus on leadership, clinical practice, and teaching.
Michael Law earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Melbourne in 2000. In 2002, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma of Surgical Anatomy at the same institution. Subsequently, from 2008 to 2009, Michael pursued a CCPU (breast and endocrine) from the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM).
