Executive Director Primary Care Innovation And Development at Eastern Melbourne PHN

Narelle Quinn has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Narelle started their career at Top End Division of General Practice in 2006 as an Aged Care Program Officer, where they were responsible for program planning and implementation, budget monitoring, and stakeholder coordination. In 2007, they joined Northern Melbourne Medicare Local as a Primary Health Integration Program Officer, managing various health promotion projects and collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address gaps in healthcare provision.

At Northern Melbourne Medicare Local, Narelle also served as the Manager for Development and Integration-Projects, leading a consortium to win a major tender and overseeing the commissioning process for the Partners in Recovery program. Narelle additionally managed the eHealth program and National Prescribing Service programs.

Narelle later became the General Manager of Primary Care Services at Northern Melbourne Medicare Local, where they were responsible for overall program management, team supervision, and contract and performance management. Narelle also held the position of Strategy and Innovation Manager and Mental Health Manager during their time at Eastern Melbourne PHN in 2015.

Since 2017, Narelle has been working at Eastern Melbourne PHN as the Manager of Integration and Sector Capacity. In this role, they oversee four teams and leads various primary care development, integration, education, and workforce capacity programs for the region. Their primary focus is preparing the primary care sector for future changes in government funding and programs.

Narelle Quinn has obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from La Trobe University and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Melbourne University.
