Eastern Mennonite Missions
Gerry Keener has a work history that includes serving as the President of Eastern Mennonite Missions since January 2019. Before that, they were the Executive Vice President from January 2010 to December 2018. Prior to their role at Eastern Mennonite Missions, Gerry worked as a Consultant at Saigon South International School from July 2002 to June 2009.
Gerry Keener began their education at Eastern Mennonite University in 1976, where they pursued a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree. Gerry completed this program in 1978. After a few years, in 1981, Gerry enrolled at New York Theological Seminary to further their education in Parish Ministry. Gerry earned a degree of S.T.M. (Master of Sacred Theology) from this institution in 1984.

While we affirm the church's desire to be warm and welcoming, we also desire a church community capable of confronting principalities and powers; a community that serves as an effective witness to God’s vision to transform all things.
