Wimarshana Ranasinghe

Wimarshana Ranasinghe is currently serving as a Graduate Assistant at Eastern Mennonite University since January 2023, while also contributing as a volunteer and a member of the International Council at Initiatives of Change since August 2014. Previously, Wimarshana managed projects at the Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement of Sri Lanka from December 2019 to November 2021, and worked as a Program Officer/Facilitator at the Centre for Communication Training from February 2018 to October 2019. Additional experience includes a role as Coordinator for Monitoring & Evaluation and Human Resources at Sarvodaya-Fusion from August 2013 to July 2014, and internships at Initiatives of Change and Rights Now - Collective for Democracy. Wimarshana holds an undergraduate degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Conflict Transformation at Eastern Mennonite University.
