Valerie Keefer Bsn Rn

Valerie Keefer BSN, RN has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Valerie began their career in 1992 as a Medical Surgical Coordinator RN at Eastern Niagara Hospital, where they worked until 2007. From 2007 to 2015, they worked at Kaleida Health as a Registered Nurse. Valerie then joined Fidelis Care as a Utilization Review RN from 2015 to 2016. Valerie then worked at Carolinas HealthCare System as an RN Clinical Supervisor from 2016 to 2017. Valerie later returned to Kaleida Health as an RN Nurse Manager from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Acute Care and Emergency Services at Eastern Niagara Hospital, a position they have held since September 2019. Throughout their career, Valerie has gained extensive knowledge and experience in various healthcare roles.

Valerie Keefer obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Daemen University. Valerie also possesses an Associate's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Niagara County Community College. Additionally, they hold several certifications including Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association obtained in January 2022. Valerie is also certified in ACLS, BLS-AHA, and NHSS. Furthermore, they are a registered nurse licensed by both the Florida State Board of Nursing and the New York State Education Department.
