Valerie Overton

Valerie Overton (she/her/hers), an ERG vice president and a widely respected project director, specializes in projects requiring multidisciplinary expertise in public health, information systems, evaluation, and communications. For more than 30 years, she has melded these disciplines to conceive and develop powerful tools and programs for public health officials, health professionals, industry, and the lay public. Her breadth of experience and wealth of subject knowledge enable her to design cutting-edge solutions grounded in strategies that have proven successful over many years. Her astute observation skills have helped U.S. Department of Health and Human Services organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration improve the effectiveness and efficiency of public health initiatives ranging from education for physicians to an innovative drug and biologic review program.
