Taryn Painter

Taryn Painter is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and program coordination. Currently serving as the University Scholars Program Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania, Taryn previously held multiple roles at Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site, including Night Tours Educator and Halloween Nights Educator, and was nominated for the Rookie of the Year Award. Taryn's work at the Netter Center for Community Partnerships involved overseeing AmeriCorps members and coordinating enrichment programs for high school and elementary students. Taryn also contributed as an AmeriCorps Student Success Coach at City Year Philadelphia, leading targeted interventions and cultivating student engagement. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in History, Political Science, and Human Rights from Towson University, complemented by various assistantship roles throughout university studies.
