John Pontius

John Pontius has over 30 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Currently serving as a Dispatcher at Eastex Crude Company since October 2011, John coordinates the collection and delivery of crude oil across South Texas. Prior to this role, John worked as a Truck Driver at Eastex Crude Company, where responsibilities included the safe transportation of crude oil. John's background includes significant experience at KBR as a Transportation Supervisor and as a Convoy Commander and Transportation Foreman at Cokamar Trucking, where oversight of hazardous waste transport was essential. John also held the position of CEO and Manager at Red White and Blue Inc., managing a fleet of 25 vehicles and specializing in various transportation services, including hazardous waste. John attended Olympic College and Central Kitsap High School, completing education between 1968 and 1973.
