Anisa Cobaj

Anisa Cobaj is a highly experienced professional in polymer engineering with a robust background in research and development. Currently serving as a Senior Application Development Scientist at Eastman since April 2022, Anisa previously held the role of Senior R&D Engineer at Avient Corporation and PolyOne, where involvement included leading the development of specialty polymer formulations and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Anisa's early career featured significant contributions as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Akron, where research focused on synthesizing and characterizing various polymer monomers, and as a Chemist for leading automotive coatings companies, where formulation and quality assurance of products for major automotive clients were key responsibilities. Anisa holds a PhD in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from The University of Akron and a BS in Chemistry from Baldwin Wallace University.
