Cameron Brown is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry with extensive experience in coatings applications research. Since August 2018, Cameron has held the position of Group Leader in Coatings Applications Research at Eastman, where responsibilities include strengthening fundamental understanding of molecular structure and material properties and overseeing digitization efforts within the coatings division. Previously, Cameron served as a Senior Applications Research Chemist, leading key projects on BPA-free polyester resins for can coating applications, and as an Advanced Applications Research Chemist, contributing significantly to resin design and commercialization. Prior experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Research Assistant at Duke University, where work focused on physical organic chemistry and mentoring students.
