Debbie Davis Waltermire

Debbie Davis Waltermire possesses extensive experience in procurement and logistics within the chemical industry. Serving as the Advisor to the Board at WREN, Waltermire leads a team focused on grant writing initiatives. At Eastman Chemical Company, from January 2003 until retirement in February 2016, Waltermire held several key leadership positions, including Director of Global Logistics Procurement, Director of Global Indirect Procurement & Supply Chain, Director of Strategic Procurement and Market Analysis, and Director of Global Raw Materials & Energy Procurement. Each role involved significant responsibility in managing procurement operations for logistics and raw materials, overseeing budgets exceeding $1.5 billion. Earlier in career, Waltermire worked as a Senior Chemical Engineer at the U.S. Department of Energy, focusing on pilot plant operations related to gasification. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, and Biology from West Virginia University.
