Derrick Dingus

Derrick Dingus is an experienced chemical engineer and leader with a robust background in process improvement and operations management. Currently serving as a Group Leader at Eastman since May 2021, Derrick oversees a team of Process Improvement Engineers across three manufacturing areas. Previous roles include Principal Chemical Engineer at Appvion and Pulp, Utilities, & Environmental Department Manager at Domtar. Derrick's extensive experience at International Paper involved various leadership positions, including Maintenance & Reliability Business Unit Manager and Fiberline Superintendent, where notable initiatives included leading international teams and implementing robust reliability systems. Derrick holds an MBA in International Business & Finance from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
