Ignacio Garcia

Ignacio Garcia possesses extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as University Relations Manager, Talent Acquisition Partner, Technology Manager, and Technology & Innovation Manager at Eastman since September 2002, focusing on Care Chemicals, Animal Nutrition, and Crop Protection. Prior to this, Ignacio held leadership roles in Specialty Plastics, including Group Leader of Coatings Tech Service and Innovation Project Manager. Ignacio's earlier career includes positions as Process Engineer at Eli Lilly and Company and various engineering roles at Eastman Chemical Company, beginning in March 1992. Ignacio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de Puerto Rico, obtained between 1986 and 1991.
