Jasdeep Sethi

Jasdeep Sethi has extensive work experience in procurement and sourcing roles. Jasdeep currently works at Eastman as the Global Sourcing Director, where they lead sourcing efforts for Xylenes and Circular feedstocks categories. In this role, they are responsible for driving cost savings and avoidances while aligning with the company's financial goals.

Prior to their current position, Jasdeep worked at Eastman Chemical Company as a Senior Global Procurement Manager. During their time in this role, they implemented a raw material sourcing strategy that resulted in significant savings and earnings stabilization for the business division. Jasdeep was recognized for their outstanding performance and received the prestigious CEO Award in 2018.

Jasdeep also held the position of Manager, Regional Procurement, Asia-Pacific at Eastman Chemical Company. In this role, they managed a team of procurement professionals across multiple sites in the Asia-Pacific region and successfully integrated Solutia's regional Procurement function into Eastman.

Before joining Eastman, Jasdeep worked at Solutia Inc. as the Director of Procurement Operations, Europe & Asia. Jasdeep established and led a regional procurement operations team and enforced adherence to processes and policies. Jasdeep was also selected as the Global Sector Lead for Packaging, where they achieved significant cost savings and implemented competitive sourcing initiatives.

Jasdeep started their career at Monsanto plc as a Project Engineer & Project Manager. Jasdeep worked at their Newport site in the UK and also had an assignment in Ghent, Belgium.

Jasdeep Sethi obtained a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology from The University of Manchester from 1991 to 1995. Jasdeep also completed their High School education at Hampton School from 1986 to 1991, with a focus on A-Levels. In 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the University of South Wales. In 2013 to 2014, Jasdeep obtained a China MBA Certificate from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Jasdeep has additional certifications as a Chartered Manager from the Chartered Management Institute in 2010 and as a Chartered Chemical Engineer from IChemE in 2000.
