Lela Connors

Lela Connors, EIT, is an experienced Process Improvement Engineer at Eastman, where responsibilities include creating process instruction cards, redesigning spreadsheets for process line assessments, and implementing organizational tools to enhance manufacturing operations. As Vice President of the Ambassadors of the College of Engineering at The University of Alabama, Lela successfully coordinated numerous tours and events while managing a team of ambassadors. Academic contributions include significant undergraduate research in the Esfahani and Koh Laboratories, focusing on innovative membrane technologies and adsorption studies. Lela's earlier experience as a summer camp counselor and lifeguard demonstrates strong leadership and mentoring capabilities. Lela holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Alabama, expected to graduate in 2024.
