Michael Carrier

Michael Carrier is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property (IP) law, currently serving as Senior IP Counsel at Eastman Chemical Company since December 2001. Over two decades, Michael has supported various Eastman businesses, specializing in diverse technologies such as latex and alkyd coating polymers, specialty polyesters, and automobile window films, among others. Prior to this role, Michael worked as an Associate at Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, where Michael honed skills in patent drafting and prosecution. Michael holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati.
