Senior Process Chemist at Eastman

Nicholas Taylor is a seasoned chemist with extensive experience in both research and teaching. Currently serving as a Senior Process Chemist at Eastman since August 2022, Nicholas has previously held roles including Advanced Process Chemist II and Advanced Chemist. Prior to this, Nicholas worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where significant contributions included developing oxygen-sensitive soft materials for MRI and teaching analytical and general chemistry labs. A graduate student internship at Eastman involved advancing methodologies for understanding coal slurry processability, while earlier experience included research on mitochondrial protein interactions at the College of Charleston and supporting organic chemistry students as a Supplemental Instructor. Nicholas holds a Doctorate in Polymer Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the College of Charleston.
