Robbert van Hove

Robbert Van Hove currently serves as the Ghent North Engineering Manager and Global Process Leader Manager at Eastman since November 2015, overseeing a team of approximately 40 engineers and designers while managing the site’s capital expenditure and operational expenditures related to shutdowns. In addition, Robbert chairs the Catalysts EMEA chapter, emphasizing the importance of Inclusion and Diversity within the region. Previously, Robbert held the position of Engineering Manager and Process Leader for Ethoxylations at Eastman, leading significant capital investments and technology management. Prior experience includes work as a Process Engineer at Ineos, focusing on process optimization and safety analysis. Robbert holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Ghent University and a certification as a Functional Safety Engineer from TUV Rheinland.
