Sowmya Parakala

Sowmya Parakala is a highly skilled Chemical Engineer currently employed at Eastman Chemical Company since December 2019. Previously, Sowmya served as a Senior Research Fellow at the CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology from June 2018 to September 2019, focusing on the design and development of advanced separation techniques for semiconductor-grade chemicals. Sowmya also completed a M.Tech dissertation on membrane separations at CSIR-IICT and worked on uranium pellet production as part of an M.Tech project at the Nuclear Fuel Complex. Educated at Osmania University with a Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree from JNTU, Sowmya has a solid foundation in chemical engineering principles and applications.
