William Cashwell

William Cashwell is a highly experienced Senior Chemical Engineer at Eastman since February 2023. Previously, William served as Technical Manager at American Zinc Products from December 2012 to March 2023, leading a team of chemical process engineers in optimizing zinc refinery operations. William's earlier roles include Sr Process Engineer, where involvement in commissioning the Mooresboro Zinc refinery took place, and an Operations Superintendent position managing a large team for SX and Effluent Treatment operations. Prior experience includes roles at Johnson Controls as a Chemical Process Engineer focused on a lead battery recycling facility and at Freeport-McMoRan as Metallurgist I, contributing to process optimization in copper operations. William holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
