Laura Laza is an experienced educator and behavioral health worker with a diverse background in teaching and academic support. Currently serving as a Behavioral Health Worker at Friendship House since 2018, Laura has also been a teacher in the South Williamsport School District since 2015, fulfilling various roles including 2nd Grade Teacher and Title One Reading Teacher. Laura's teaching experience extends back to 2008 at Eastport South Manor CSD, providing assistance as a Teacher Assistant in both general education and special education settings. Laura's earlier career included positions as a Substitute Teacher in Longwood Central School District and as Director/Teacher at Anchor Nursery School, where curriculum development and staff supervision were key responsibilities. Laura holds a Master of Science in Educational Technology from LIU Post and a Bachelor of Arts in Child Study/Psychology from St. Joseph's College.
