Bertram Prosser currently serves as the Lead Medical Director for Commercial Insurance at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee since December 2021. Additionally, Bertram has been an Attending Emergency Medicine Physician at Eastside Medical Center since July 2017 and previously held the same position at Corpus Christi Spohn Health Network from July 2013 to July 2017. Bertram completed an Emergency Medicine residency at The University of Arizona from July 2010 to July 2013 and served as a helicopter pilot in the US Navy from May 1997 to June 2006. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a Masters in Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the United States Naval Academy. Bertram is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Auburn University Harbert College of Business, expected to graduate in December 2025.
